Our goal is to provide the highest quality outdoor clothing and equipment in a comfortable atmosphere with a knowledgeable, friendly staff. We have loyal customers because we do just about anything to help you enjoy your outdoor adventures.Our emphasis is rock and ice climbing, hiking, camping, backcountry skiing, and trail running. The Chalet staff members are outdoor fanatics and can speak from firsthand experience for advice on gear, clothing, and places to go for your type of fun.
We also offer rental and demo equipment, including climbing shoes, backcountry skis, cross-country skis, packs, snowshoes, tents, and more.
Finally, Mountain Chalet is dedicated to giving back to our community and to helping protect our local wilderness and open spaces. We are proud to support non-profits and organizations such as the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, El Paso County SAR,
Trails and Open Space Committee, Colorado Avalanche Information Center, Friends of Cheyenne Canyon, and many more.
