ASSISTANT MANAGER FUNCTION
The Ridgeline Assistant Manager (AM) oversees the successful execution of the business plan that will meet the business objectives and deliver the Return of Investment (ROI) expectations of the business owners of Ridgeline. The AM holds the Sales Manager accountable for finding sufficient business opportunities to meet the required revenue and retail inventory targets. The AM holds the Operations Managers accountable for completing the jobs cost-effectively to meet COGS Labor targets included in the business budget. Also, execution of the service work should produce the target Gross Profit included in the bike and ski service pricing and perform the services at a quality level to meet customer expectations. The AM also holds the Finance Lead accountable for expense control measures to meet target budget expenses and the timely accuracy of necessary business decision information at Ridgeline. The AM has the collective responsibility to return target profits to the business. The AM also has the responsibility to account for the IT support and legal responses at Ridgeline as needed. The AM will work with the Owners to assure the business growth and ROI expectation at Ridgeline Bike & Ski are met.

EXPERIENCE
Required: Minimum of three years of retail management experience
Passion for cycling lifestyle and culture.
Additional experience and a superior track record may substitute for Education requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Understanding of the Financial Procedures in a services business.
Understanding of Project Management process
Passionate about quality and holds themselves to a high standard and relates to customers’ expectation of high quality standards.
Ability to guide, direct and coordinate new procedure development when necessary and manage (coach) the leadership staff.
Excellent leadership skills and possesses integrity and trustworthiness.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements, quotations, project plans, and generate other management and financial reports as needed by the Organization.
Ability to respond to common inquiries and custom requests from the Management Team, Owners, Supervisors, Executive level customers, and Government Agencies.

WORK HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
The Assistant Manager (AM) is a full-time position based on less than 40 hour work week.
About Ridgeline Bike & Ski
Ridgeline Bike & Ski is primarily a Bicycle shop with revenue representing 80% of retail sales. Specialized provides a family of e-bikes that represent an increasing percentage of the bike revenue and more high-end e-bikes have been added to the available, on-hand inventory. In addition to the Specialized product line, target additions based on customer demand have been added to fill feature and price gaps.
With expanded snow product lines with Meir, Armada, Atomic, Head, Vokl, Arbor, and Solomon and a plan to increase ski leases and rentals through our services and boot fitting capabilities. Investments in ski grinding and waxing machines have increased our ability to meet the customer needs in providing a high level of tuning services. The customized footbet with bootdoc along with boot punching has expanded our abilities to meet the high demand for boot fitting.
