Pedal & Pour is one of the fastest growing neighborhood bike and coffee shops in Las Vegas that offers Full Service repairs, custom bike builds, a modern specialty coffee shop with daily pastry service, retail from some of the best brands in the industry, and a great environment for customers to enjoy spending time with the sport they love. We are a small team of Mechanics and Baristas who are looking for a service department leader who is just as passionate as us who will help grow our service department and provide our community with an excellent and unique experience in the cycling industry.
We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and friendly individual to join our store management team! Being an employee at Pedal & Pour is a rich and fulfilling experience that will allow you to connect and interact with customers, co-workers, and the community in our open service concept that provides a 1 on 1 unique feel to talking about everything bikes and coffee. You need to have a full skill set and solid history in bike builds, repair, suspension, wheels, and service. You’ll need to be motivated, supportive, and extremely detail oriented and passionate about the industry, regardless of what type of riding you do. You will also need to work well with, and lead a team of friendly and experienced bike mechanics. Everything you do and how you present yourself should exceed our, and our clients expectations.
Position: Service Department/Store Manager
Employment Type: Full-time, Year-round
Qualifications:
A strong bike building, repair, suspension, wheel building, and service writing background required, minimum of 3-5 years.
Minimum of 2 years in a management position.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of High School Diploma, Associate degree or above preferred. Bike industry training is a plus.
This job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
Full-time is 40-45 hours per week, and must be available on weekends.
Love of Coffee is a plus
Summary of Duties:
Works directly with Owners to manage the day to day operations of the Service department and make sure parts and shop consumables are well stocked and repairs are completed in a timely manner
Assists in buying decisions and makes recommendations on retail and bike ordering to maintain a successful business.
Supporting and leading the Service team through mentoring, communication and fostering a spirit of teamwork, trust, accountability, and strong customer service.
Assess and repair all types of bikes confidently and efficiently including road mountain city and e-bikes.
Complete all repairs within a timely manner and ensure the team is completing repairs in a timely manner
Ability and willingness to fill in for other roles as needed. Service Writing and Sales or retail bikes and accessories will be required for this role.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Provide input on/help establish store policies and procedures as the service department and team grows.
Ability to partake in managers/staff/service meetings and events.
Ability to/willingness to attend and host community events and group rides.
