General Manager

Schedule: Friday through Monday. During those four days per week, you will be expected to work in the office for roughly 10 hours. This time can be flexed based on how you would like to staff the office during those days. You would be on-call for vehicle issues during those days, such as pulling out a stuck van.

Work from Home: If the office is not requiring your presence for the full 10 hours, or if you feel it is properly staffed without you, you may work from home to do tasks that do not require you to be in the office. Some of those tasks include payroll, checking future days in Hudson, running the variance report, or billing. You will be given access to Hudson and a Home James email address that you can access from home.

Reporting Structure: you and the Fleet Manager report directly to ownership. All three parties will work together regarding most major decisions.

Tasks:

-Hiring and staffing (to be done with the owner) 

-General HR, including policy enforcement 

-Handling payroll (to be verified by the owner) 

-Taking reservations and dispatching drivers

-Working in conjunction with the Fleet Manager to ensure vehicles are properly maintained 

-Updating the Hudson reservation system each day that you are in the office to ensure proper staffing 

-Checking variance reports
