General Summary

The Sr. UX/UI Designer creates user-centric website and digital property experiences for the organization. This role serves as a subject matter expert for web visual design, interaction design, and user experience (UX) design and works closely with department leadership to ensure design strategies are executed according to established brand standards. TheSr. UX/UI Designer manages the look and feel of the organization’s user interfaces (UI) and interactions for all global web properties. This role brings concepts to realities from low fidelity designing, to wireframing, to polished high fidelity prototypes into fully delivered solutions.

Essential Responsibilities     

  • Leads and collaborates on the artistic vision and digital art direction for the user interface and visual design of web properties
  • Defines customer journey mapping to help develop ideas into tangible concepts. Conducts wire-framing, prototyping, and mixed-fidelity design work
  • Uses knowledge of eCommerce UX best practices and research findings to make recommendations and inform decision-making for ideation and optimization
  • Creates and optimizes interaction design for a polished, best in class user experience and increased user perceived performance
  • Leads, mentors, and collaborates with other digital product designers and front-end developers to help elevate overall team capabilities
  • Builds and maintains FIGMA and FIGMA design processes that focus on rapid iteration
  • Works with internal teams and analysts to identify opportunities and creates visual design and usability solutions from scratch
  • Leads the build and maintenance of a cohesive design strategy and UI framework used by global brand creative teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, web design, human-computer interaction, or related field is required
  • Six (6) years of relevant experience with Web Design with a core understanding of mobile-first
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience within UX, eCommerce, and designing for conversion optimization
  • Experience building UI/Design frameworks and an understanding of UX best practices
  • Experience creating digital and web experiences for eCommerce
  • Experience working with content and editorial platforms or blogs that focus on storytelling using content hierarchies and information architecture
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
  • May act as a lead or mentor within the eCommerce/direct to consumer team(s)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic creative environment
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands, and changes
  • Ability to articulate design vision to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Expert proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma

Travel Required

Up to 5% of work time will involve travel
