Job Description & Requirements
We are searching for a Store Manager for our local, family bike and ski shop in downtown Novato, Ca. We are looking for someone who has prior experience and training as a bike mechanic and/or Shop Manager who is passionate about bikes and snow sports. The Shop Manager will help oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the Shop, working closely with the Shop Owner. Responsibilities include:
- Managing staff and employees, including assigning work and tasks and training staff members as needed on new products or services
- Run the cash register and use computerized point of sale system to track inventory and sales
- Be the point person for customers and sales questions
- Set up and maintain Shop displays
- Keep the Shop tidy, organized and clean
This position is a full-time, 40 hours a week position, with flexible hours, paid time off and employee discount. Candidates must be willing to work evenings and one weekend day a week. The position will have two days off in a row, one weekend day and one weekday, most likely Sunday and Monday and asked to work hours roughly from Noon - 8pm, with one or two days a week from 10am - 6pm.
