Job Description & Requirements
We seek a Customer Service Representative to answer dealer and customer questions by phone and email. We provide excellent, educational and timely responses to dealers and customers. Retail experience is important, especially from the outdoor industry. You must understand the importance of providing a wonderful customer experience. You need to be an aspiring canoe junkie. Ideally you own a Northstar or Bell Canoe, or you have a really good explanation as to why you don’t. You need to be able relate to paddler’s concerns. You must have canoe tripping experience.
We’re a small, family owned company with 25 employees. You’ll know everyone’s name and wear more hats than only customer service. Your aptitude and our needs will help us both find what other hats fit well.
This position requires some travel to our nationwide dealer network. You must be comfortable driving a full sized pickup while towing a canoe trailer. Telecommuting for this position is not possible. And, not surprisingly, you must be able to portage canoes.
