Reports To:        Customer Service and Warranty Manager

Classification:    Professional

Location:            Boulder, Colorado (Denver Metro area residents or those willing to relocate only)

FLSA Code:         Non-Exempt

Salary Range:     $36,000 - $40,000 DOE plus potential bonuses and a generous benefits package

Start Date:          November 1, 2022


Job Summary

The Customer Technical Representative’s (“CTR”) primary role is to engage enthusiastically with La Sportiva's extensive customer base while investigating and resolving customer concerns.

Applicant must be organized with an acute attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is also data entry intensive.  CTR’s must exercise patience, possess the ability to use positive language when assisting customers, and provide creative solutions to customer inquiries. They must be able to work independently as well as cooperatively with other team members and departments within the company. A desire to help others and the willingness to learn about new products and processes are essential.  


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer customer phone calls
  • Respond to customer email inquiries
  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Maintain customer contact information
  • Set up product returns and warranty claims
  • Provide product and technical support
  • Attend trade shows as necessary



  • Customer Service experience
  • Sales-related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Ski, Mountaineering, Climbing, Running and Apparel products


Work Environment

  • 37+ hour standard workweek requirement
  • Office environment with appropriate workspace and equipment needed for position are provided
  • Occasional long periods of sitting, walking, and standing
  • Position requires regular interaction with a variety of constituents, including team members and customers
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., as well as able to bend and walk without issues



This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
