What you will do:
The Warehouse Associate provides support to TightSpot and Ripcords’s US Distribution Center, and Excalibur’s, TightSpot’s and Ripcord’s US Warranty Depot. The incumbent will receive product deliveries and warranty returns; pull, assemble, repair, and ship orders (TightSpot, E-commerce, Ripcord, and warranty returns); process RMAs.
The individual will be responsible for:
- Unload and receive product, and communicating any discrepancies
- Receive, pick, and process and close orders electronically through the ERP system
- Stage shipments and complete shipping paperwork
- Manual material handling (use of pump truck / pallet jack and rolling safety ladder); packages ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 44 lbs.
- Maintain equipment and work area, keeping it safe, clean and organized.
- Responsible for supporting and adhering to company safety and operating policies and procedures.
- Receive, perform warranty repairs, and complete RMA within Renewity and communicate with Kitchener Warranty and Customer Service department.
- Respond to customer questions, concerns, and requests for updates (email and phone communication)
- Package repaired product for return and customer direct sales and arrange for shipment
- Evaluate shipping options based on cost and turnaround time and arrange shipments
- Using shipping software programs, input shipping particulars and produce waybills and shipping labels
- Maintain the integrity of product inventory; perform cycle counts as required and report any shortages to the Production manager
- Work with the Production manager to create transfer orders to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Ensure that operations are carried out safely and in accordance with state and municipal legislation
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of archery equipment (acquired through work experience or personal interest).
- Bow technician or bow repair experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to manage, prioritize, schedule, and complete tasks, assignments, and projects with minimal supervision.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be able to recognize problems and proactively develop countermeasures and solutions— be a self-starter.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications Required Are:

- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving and material handling.
- Secondary school diploma (post-secondary education an asset).
- User-level computer experience using MS Office (Outlook, Excel), internet use and shipping software. ERP experience preferred.
- A successful background check will be required as part of the hiring process.
